hey guys i have a major question i scouted at my hunting spot about a month ago and found a few trails and spooked up 3 or 4 does when i was coming back to my truck. Well i went back out today to hang my stand ( i live in Ohio) and do a lil more scouting well i found maybe two sets of tracks in dif. places and no rubs or anything. There is good dense cover for bedding and a corn field so i set my stand in between them is this a ok deal i mean is there ven deer in this area prolly? thanx please respond

That sounds like my 'honey hole'. Years past there was sign all over the place. Even this spring the deer were in there thick.
All of a sudden they are gone! No tracks nothing. The salt lick hasn't had a track by it in a long time and last year this time they were coming to it constantly. Anyway, i looked around in the woods, found sign in other spots and have been seeing deer in those spots almost every time out. As far as my 'honey hole' i've hunted it 4 times and haven't seen a deer yet.
I'd say find a spot with some sign.
