I don't name my arrows, but I do write in permanent marker on the fletching what type of deer it killed, and the date.

I just number them so I would know which arrow doesn't shoot well. So far #5 out of a dozen isn't hitting on target out to 40 meters.

I remember someone else naming their arrows but other than him.....

It is a good idea though. I would have a difficult time coming up with something original though. I would probably end up with "This one with the bent fletching" and "That one with the dented tip" and....

I have used the same arrow broadhead with new blades after each use on all 4 of my shots this year.3 does and 1 yote.I cleaned it up after each use and put in new blades.I feel it flies the straightest and Gold Tip arrows can stand some punishment.Granted I have shot through every animal so far but the tried and true never fail.I will use this arrow until something happens to it.I will even use it on a big tom when I finally get around to going to that stand.

I take 4 arrows with me everytimeI head out and they all have names.
1-SUPPER TIME
2-SMACK DOWN
3-LUNG EATER
4-LIGHTS OUT

I write the names on the shaft between the fletching.
