Church first

I go through the same internal battle every year during hunting season, should I skip church this week or not. This time as usual church wins. God has blessed me greatly and I need to remember that. See you in the woods sunday evening!

Good for you!!! Nothing wrong with putting God first. That's where He should be! :)

I am not a religous person but who says that you have to go to a man made building to worship God?

Isn't mother Earth Gods real house of worship?

bigbulls:

Short answer, "No." :-) No sense in getting theological on a hunting board, but that's not what the Bible says. Anyhow.

You are right Bigbulls, no building is required. I feel closer to God when I am out in nature than I do at any other time. As far as the building goes,I just think it is the right thing to do. it's a personal choice and to each as he or she sees fit.
