Default Cold

Is anyone else hoping for cold weather to come soon? I live in central WV and I'm hoping and praying for colder weather. Squirrel season starts Saturday and it's hot in the afternoons. Sure it's cool in the morning, and warm in the evening, but we need that cold weather. I'm hoping to see some rain on Sunday or some rain Thursday and Friday. Because the rain definetly cools WV off. So let's see some rain, and colder weather.

I am too tired of the heat. It sounds like here in NJ that the next 2 days are going to be 87 degrees. Yuck. Come on now let it snow!!!

I'm stuck with mid to upper 80's for the next few weeks here in Mississippi. Thats part of it, just get out there and sweat it out.

It's still in the 90's here in Texas. <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> It's supposed to cool off for the weekend, but I'm not getting my hopes up like I did last weekend.

Monday I worked--and the temps were in the mid 70's. I'm working friday too and the temps are supposed to be the same. I can hunt Tuesday thru thursday this week and the temps are in the HUMID upper 80's to around 90 today! It was hot and sticky yesterday and soon after sun up this morning and supposed to be worse today. I was dripping sweat both days and have had to wash everything after each hunt. What's worse is that acorns are falling NOW and the spot that is a deer magnet is a 20 minute walk IN THE SUN before I get there and set up my stand! Thinking about a drag in this heat makes me want to forgoe this evening's hunt. I HATE THIS HEAT!!!!!!!!

Today's small bucks are tomorrow's trophies.

That is why I moved up north. It was however a little warmer over the weekend. Only up to the low 50's today. a little rain and the woods are going to be nice and quiet this evening.
