Well, at AA meetings they say the first step to recovery is admitting you are addicted. And they also say the first step to knowing you are addicted, is not being able to function with out it. This includes sleep, work, school and just about everything else. Well here it is, my announcement... I'M ADDICTED,and I never hope to recover... Any other members of Archaholics Anonymous (AA)? Come on... fess up.

I'm addicted too.

I've been able to deal with it during the daytime because I'm able to surf the message boards, watch a hunting show, or just go out and shoot my bow. At night it's been taking me longer and longer to fall asleep. Can't stop thinking about this coming weekend. I keep debating stand locations.

Ahh the changing seasons...as the leaves turn ..so do the posts..It's just days now until the "What do ya think he'll score posts" turn to "How far do ya think he went".

I'm still sleeping like a baby! Unless the baby isn't sleeping..but that's a whole different topic!

I'm on the list for professional help when our season ends .......my husband insists......he says that's the only way we can stay married. I tend to go into deep, deep depression and start ordering things out of Bass Pro Shop!!....after all, my favorite color is CAMO. Thankfully we started hunting Sept. 17th....I'm good for the next 4 months OK....Maybe I am addicted[8D]

Let me paint this picture for you. Close your eyes and imagine the dark, crisp morning air. The silent pre-dawn woods, the accent to your stand in the perfect tree, the break of dawn on the horizon............whats that....... a rustle in the leaves,....you peer through the vegetation with a scrutinizing eye. your mind plays tricks " did I just see something move"? The rest of this untold story on a perfect morning is why I cant sleep. Not knowing just how big that deer is going to be when he steps out from the bush,..........Its gonna be a good day!

Sleep! What's sleep? Wife is about ready to kick my butt out of bed if I keep tossing and turning.
