BROOKTROUT. Rainbows have a pink stripe down the middle, not orange on the belly.

I dont really want to argue over 2 silly fish, but... the 2 fish on the wall in the middle of the pic up near the ceiling are rainbow trout if I have ever seen one and I have been catching them for maybe 15 years. The fish in your pic have a pinkside and asleek silver body just like all rainbows have. I dont know how to put a link on here but do an image search on yahoo and type in"brook trout" and then"rainbow" and you'll see what I am talking about. Those are 2 beautiful fish, but not worth starting an arguement over.

Duse they are Brookies, I also have been fishing both species for about 25 yrs. A rainbow has a pink stripe down its side, a Brookie has a oarngeish belly. Look where the coloring is, on its belly! BROOKIE final answer
