Default Do you hunt in the rain?

My first day in the woods will be next Sunday, Oct 2nd.
Forecast is for 60% chance of rain. Expecting it all day.
I will be in the woods but it just make me wonder about everyone else.

I'll hunt in the rain if it's not pouring. I believe deer lay up if it's torential. I usually see them when it is a light rain!

I also hunt as long as it isnt a torrential rain.If it is storming then the deer will lay up.If there is a steady rain then they all will be up and moving no matter the time of the day.I baught a unbrella from wally world that is for hunting. It is camo and one side of it is cut out so it you can rap it around the tree and tie it off.I use it every time it rains.Nothing better then keeping dry.

I dont mind hunting in the rain as long as its not pouring. A lot of times thats when you will see your best deer in a slow drisling rain.

During a hard rain they seem to bed down. This is the best time to still hunt. Your scent is kept down and the woods arent as crunchy.

It depends. If I know it is going to rain and I take either my tree umbrella or my pop up blind then I will continue to hunt. If not then it is back to the truck.

If just a slight drizzle I love it actually. During the rut I will hunt rain or shine.
