Default Found a Unique One Tonite!

To make a long story short, I was combining soybeans tonite and on either side of the bean field there are corn fields, with a strip of pine trees in the middle. Towards dark about 30 deer filtered into those pine trees with one unique deer. The deer was Piebald, appeared to be a yearling or a real small full grown deer. Season starts in the AM, so I'm planning on trying out the Double Bull in those pine trees tomorrow evening. Hopefully it ventures thru the trees, my antlerless tag would look great on its leg!

I've seen a few Piebald deer over the years, and they've always seemed to be smaller in body size for some reason.

Good luck with that Piebald. I got a Piebald last year that I had a trail-cam picture of. I had the fur tanned and it looks neat on my wall! It's true that they tend to be smaller but they are truely unique! I think they tend to be loners but I saw this onenear a regular doe when I shot her. All of the previous times I saw her she was by herself. Neat stuff!!

Oh yea, I forgot to mention they have longer hair and shorter legs than regular deer.

Hopefully the weather holds out for the evening. I have to shoot trap at 1 o'clock and they are talking thunderstorms, its gonna make me really upset if I can't hunt today!

I'll be sure to get pictures up no matter what, if I see the deer and can't get a shot I'll be sure to snap a few pictures with my digital camera.
