Default Should I hunt tonight???

It's opening day for me today and I didn't hunt this morning because of work but could hunt this evening. It's going to be around 90 degrees with a 60% chance of thunderstorms and winds howling out of the south at 15-25mph. Definitely NOT ideal conditions by any means. If it were not opening day I would probably skip the hunt but I've been sooooo pumped for about the last 9 months that I don't know if I can miss it. I'm struggling with the decision...input would be appreciated.

The hell you say !!

" with a 60% chance of thunderstorms and winds howling out of the south at 15-25mph. "

Front coming thru = GOOD THING
Windy = GOOD THING . When the woods are moving with high winds deer move IMO.

Its hot here, not windy, sunshine blue skies and I'm going, if not for 30 minutes !!

Sit home man. DO you know how miserable hunting in 90 degree weather is. Not to mention the wind. You'll be teetering back and forth all night up there. Wait til you have a day you can actually enjoy.

Some things are true whether you believe them or not.

It was opening day here in Illinois too. With the record heat here i passed on today. Yes, great front coming in, its opening day and all ........

BUT: If i where to arrow a deer tonight im worried about loosing it. Its way hot, and i get up at 4:00 am to go to work. So in order for me to make sure the deer would be ok i would have to butcher it myself before the morning. This is the reason i passed.

Just make sure you can take care of the animal in the heat if you decide to go..........
