Default NRA vs PETA

I got a letter from the NRA last night. It looks like Wayne LaPierre is going head to head in a debate with PETA. The event is going to be taking place on October 18th and will be televised (I think pay per view). I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I tried to find a link to the event and only found it on a PETA relatedsite which I will not post.

I'm not really sure how it will be televised. The letter stated nationally televised, so I'm not sure. Anywho, if it is pay per view or in demand, as long as the NRA has approved where the $$$ will be going, I'm OK with it. Ihave a lot of faith in the NRA. AndI would take anychance to see Wayne speak.

Here is the link : http://www.huntingdebate.com/

This will be broadcasted on iNdemand pay-per-view. If it's not rediculously expensive I may have to order it and record it on my DVR.

If you view the trailer you will see who is promoting it. PETA has the opening statement and the closing statement.

This is going to be a dangerous debate. I hope the NRA studies up well for it. There will be a lot riding on it and as ludicrous as the PETA organization is, they are not dumb.

I agree... I have a weird feeling about it too. If the PETA idiots have the opening and closing segments, that leaves no room for Wayne LaPierre to make his point. The whole thing is extremely dangerous, IMHO. I wouldn't put it past PETA to do something utterly stupid with the broadcasting and PPV event and stuff. I hope the Wayne and the NRA can seriously study up for this and be tactful and extremely professional.

The NRA had at least 4million members at last count , PETA has nowhere near that many .

Jeez guys, have a little faith. Wayne is one of the smartest individuals I know. It's an honor to have him on our side. He'll do just fine.
