It is almost 2 AM and i was planning on hitting the stand about 5 AM or so.....but cant sleep! Hope I dont doze off in the tree.

I can't sleep either.It's alright though , they frown on that at work anyway.

I just got up gettin ready to head to the tree.

I haven't slept well since my son was born almost 2 years ago. It seems my body got used to getting up every 3hrs for feedings and even though his schedule has changed mine hasn't. [&:] I still wake up 2-3 times a night every night.

I remember last year it was even worse the night before the opener. When I finally did fall asleep I'd wake up a couple hrs later and start thinking about hunting again. lol I got upin the earlymorning and drank a pot of coffee from the time I woke up till the time I got in my stand. Then I was up moving every 1/2 hour cause I had to pee.

I just woke up cause I am going hunting in an hour or two.

I rarely get much sleep the night before the opener either. Too much anticipation and excitement...plus I typically get up around 2:30 am the first day.

yep me too, notice the 2:49am part of this post. Geez we all have some problems.

I can't sleep because i've got a 600mw power plant under my thumb[8D].

But sitting here all night allows me to catch up on all the neat hunts and going ons around this joint.
