Found a dead one BEFORE the opener!

I'll bet if they had any game laws regulating hunting way back they'd probably hang poachers up with the horse thieves. Hahaha That's really bad if I knew somebody was doing that on my land I would definately try and track 'em down.

[:@]I have to agree that this type of crap really ticks me off as well. The one year I found 6 deer after our rifle season but before our late muzzleloader season. All were recently killed and within sight of a heavily traveled roadway. It is bad enough to have a deer shot out of season but then to not even go look for it.....

I'm pretty much positive it was shot. This is the 3rd year in a row one has been killed here in the early or PRE season, and then left to rot. I doubt it had any health problems because it was very large and appeared to be in excellent shape. I'm headed there now to hunt in this heat and humidity!

That is terrible but unfortunately to common. Our local poachers actually compete with one another to see who can illegally kill identified big bucks before the other.Game wardens know who they are and still can't shut them down.Very frustrating when you go at it the right way!!
