Default Have you ever...........

had a nightmare about hunting? Man I had one last night(opener is this Saturday) I am sitting in my stand and just as it starts to get light I notice my sights do not look quite right, I touch them and the whole nine yards fall apart!!!! I don't beleive it, well I get it back together and figure everything is fine and the when I go to nock an arrow I see I had a field point on, MAN!!!!! Well I check the other 6 arrows and one does have a broadhead so I pull it from the quiver and the shaft is all dinged up and feels like it is bent to boot!!!! Well of course the buck of a life time shows up at about 10 yards! I woke up, thank goodness, the only way it could have been a worse dream is if I had missed a shot at this bruiser!!!

Oh my god I can't believe seeing this topic. I had one last night too, and my opener is this saturday. My dream started out with 3 does coming by while it was still to dark to shoot. Then as it got light, there were people all over my hunting area. The powerline was now a road, and there were a bunch of stores down over the hill. All these people came walking through the woods around my stand. I fianlly got so upset and left. The dream was horrible.

Some things are true whether you believe them or not.

I actually had a crazier one last year, I was hunting the edge of this field and a monster buck comes out and gives me a perfect broadside shot at about 40 yards, as I started to draw a bead on him my 30-30 turned into a .38 snubnose revolver!!! Suddenly I hold high and shoot!! I am thinking to myself "Boy are you nuts!!!" Well I can actually see the bullet arching through the air and I gutshot him and he takes off!!! Once again I woke up still mystified as to why I would ever have taken a shot like that with a .38 snubnose! MAN I can not wait until the opening of bow for these dreams to stop!!!

Nope, nothing like that, in mine the arrow just keeps bending either right or left of the deer depending on where I aim.
