I like to shoot with both eyes open, but an accident I had about 8 years ago does not allow me to. I have double vision at specific angles, and guess what...my shooting form makes it impossible to do.

Have always shot with left eye closed and right eye peeping, but will have to give it a try..

The best of luck in all your hunting endeavors!!!

God Bless,
Dave

Yes

It's the correct way to shoot a bow, shotgun, rifle with and without scopes.....Not that closing one eye isn't acceptable but most if not all shooting coaches will tell you that.

Both eyes open, it gives you a better depth of field in the shot.

Me, too. Both eyes open is a huge advantage, IMO. I don't use a peep sight either.

I shoot with both eyes open. The reason why your groups are tighter is because when your eye is closed there is mucle tension there which causes you to flinch when you shoot, and now that your eye is open you can shoot and not flinch.

Both open, but I'm very right eye dominant. I think it is because of years of shooting shotgun and rifle, which I shoot both eyes open also. But even with both open, my left never opens as much as my right. My wife even commented on my &quot;droopy&quot; left eye. I said it's not droopy, just not used very much. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
