I'm just NOT ready.

Don't worry about it David. I am sure you are the type of person who will do what needs to be done at this point to be ready for the season opener. Truth be told I haven't had much time to practice either. Between both jobs and the family I rarely have time to pick up my own bow....even though I am always working on everyone elses'.

I hear ya davidmil. I haven't had much time either. I only have 2 stands hung (out of 8) and haven't hardly had time to shoot. Like you though, when I do get time to shoot, I shoot well. I just hate that there seems to be less and less time each year. My original goal was to be shooting at least 3 times a week once daylight savings time changed. LOL....yeah right.[&:] Between coaching baseball all year, and church, the job, and trying to keep up around the house....well, like I said...I hear ya.
I'm sure you will be fine, and many of us others that are in the same boat will too. It's just a little frustrating sometimes...I know exactly how you feel. At least I have a few more weeks before the season starts...although my schedule isn't looking much better.
Good luck

They say shooting a bow is like riding a bike. Once you got it you got it. As far as the hunting part, just get out there in a tree where the traffic is and your hunters instict will kick in and do the rest. Good Luck!!
