I change my vote to bobcat after seeing Double Creeks picture.

I found a very interesting article that describes this phenomenon pretty good....

The mind believes what we expect to see. My wife saw the picture of the original cat posted and thought it was a dog of some sorts. How she could possibly see a dog I will never understand. What I do understand is that she works with dogs a lot and may somehow be pre-wired to expect a dog sized animal to in fact be a dog without really "seeing." Now I know that each of us have studied that photo and we've each had very distinct ideas on what it is or isn't. My question which will remain unanswered is how much of the picture did our minds fill in for us? Very interesting post!!! The best I've seen in a long time!

know that ive looked a little closer it looks like a big bobcat cause of the black tips on the ears and sports on legs its in its summer coat.
