I have seen some of the arrow speeds people claim to have out of all kinds of bows and alot of these people are saying that there speeds are higher than the ibo's from the manufacturer. keep it real people, speed kills but i'd rather have a slow hit than a fast miss!!!!! mathews legacy 70# 29"draw 510 grain 2315 xx78 ss 100gr point 245fps

.My bow is shooting 290-295fps with a 375 gr arrow.70#...30" draw Diamond Victory. IBO is 316fps.When you start deducting add-ons you lose speed quick.According to diamond..My set-up is losing approx...
Arrow weight each3gr over 350gr IBO standard=1fps loss.
..so 25 gr =8.3fps loss
string loop around2fps
peep around 4fps
string silencers around 3fps
rubber tubing around 6fps
316 IBO minus 23.3fps in deduction= 292.7 fps
It drops quickly.
I'm one of these speed freaks ya'll are talking about. This bow is making 70-72 ft lbs. That is more than enough for deer.

Yeah with my mathews switchback and a 400 grain arrow 29 in. draw and 70# it shoots oh about 10,000 feet per second
No for real though i really dont even know how fast it shoots, probably about 240-260. Some where in there.

I had my bow at the range getting ne rest and sites put on.i asked if I could use the chrono to see what kinds of speeds I was getting.I shoot a Hoyt Magnatec at 72 pounds with Gold tip hunters and I was averaging 269 so that is my soeed for my bow.I also use 100 grain thunderheads .The guy at the shop said I have a great bow and the speeds were awesome for it.I was 5fps faster then his Amthews legacy shooting the same arrows and broadheads.
