CD, I dont' understand why you wouldnt' want pictures of yourself with your trophy (any deer IS a trophy) to pass down from generation to generation. Or atleast for you to hold on to a good memory.

As far as the ND buck. It's a beauty. Rumor has it that it will be in around the 230 NT mark.

TXboy, don't put all of us Northerners in the same "truck bed pictures only" category. I know a few guys who are fully capable of taking quality pictures. It could be possible that this guy has decided to not release any of the "better pictures". Would be a smart move I would say.

I don't have any details yet but when I do I will post the story.

Dont you guys up North know how to take quality photos? If the buck isint laying in a pickup bed (thats normally full of crap) then its hanging in a garage or strung out in somebodies yard with everything in the background taking the attention away from the animal.
It's not all of us that don't take good photos, maybe he didn't have a camera with, maybe he was just too excited about the whole thing and it slipped his mind but trying to say all of us in ND don't know how to take photos that's like me saying all of you texans are inbreeders. AND I AM NOT SAYING THAT! I am just trying to make a point.

I see very, very few pictures of whitetails that are taken in the eastern and/or northern states that the hunter actually took time to take a quaility picture. Guys out west know how to take pictures, but not back east...............

Chris, that's an extremely WEAK generalization.

Thanks Joe. Not all of us northerners are complete rednecks who don't know how to use a camera.
