Default Crimson Raptor Broadheads

Does anyone on here use or have ever used the CRIMSON RAPTOR broadheads. I might purchase some and I need some feed back from previous users.

They probably work fine. However, themarketing hype about "spiral wound channels" etc. is probably just that, hype. I much rather my broadhead/arrowconsume all it's energy getting straight through the off side of the animal than corkscrewing about.

A sharp broadhead, from a well tuned bow, delivered to the heart/lungs at sufficent velocity to penetrate said same, kills, every time. I doubt comic book graphics and marketing hype add anything beneficial to the formula.

My brother bought some Crimson Crocs this year and we shot them over the last few days.........I was impressed. Nice head IMO and I can't wait to see how it does on a deer.

They fly beautifully out of both of our rigs and they hit right with our fieldtips. They do cut a spiral when they hit the target..........you have to rotate them counterclockwise when pulling them out for easiest removal.

They were nice and sharp and I am guessing they will do just fine on a deer.

I may give the Crimson line a look next year............although my Stingers are gonna be tough to beat

All of the heads I have tested from that company have been, well not that high in quality to be polite. Good ideas but bad execution in my opinion.
