I don't know if any of you have done this, but if you haven't I challenge you to try it. Take a pocket sized bible with you when you hunt. Great way to pass the time in Gods beautiful creation. Hey- who knows, he may bless you for it with a trophy buck! Plus the devil hates it!

Awesome Callemin-- Hey- You pray before you eat dinner, why not before you shoot it! I have found it's a great "quiet time"- away from kids, job, everyday hustle and bustle, so it's perfect time for me anyways to spend time feeding the soul. The only distraction is a deer walking up on you, which is why you're there in the first place.

I always pray while on stand. It is so nice to not be distracted. And by the way I always pray for the big one to apear. God doesn't always bring in the big one but but I can'tgipe about it becauseHe has provided for my family in soo many ways!

I'm tellin' ya man! Even if you don't shoot one you leave the woods refreshed. For me hunting really can be a "religious experience". It's when I get my best prayer time!

I usually take a good read, C. S. Lewis, Ravi Zacharias, or my Bible on the trip, but not in the tree. Do find some quality meditative and prayer time in the stand.

I always feel closest to God when I"m out in His woods or on His water so reading His word while I"m there only makes sense. I'll bring The Book with me this year. Thanks.
