You guys make me sick.....in CA we get two tags (male deer only) first tag cost $25 and the second $32. No doe tags for as long as i can remember. deer have to be atleast fork/spike or for you easterners a 3 pointer..haha...plus our state is broken into lots of pieces to which you have to buy a tag for that area and it is only good for that area to hunt...

It varies in Wisconsin by management unit. In my unit, for bow, I get 1 buck and 1 antlerless, with the option of buying unlimited bonusantlerless permits. For firearms, it is a T-Zone which means there are two seasons that are anterless only and the regular gun season wich inthe T-Zone unitmay be antlered or anterless. You get one buck tag and one anterless tag, but I think there is also the option of bonus antlerless tags. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken.

moose...moose...... 29......and you could still kill more...does your stae do and type of conservation?????? what in deaths name did you do wit all dat meat???????? Where im at its a buck and two doe.... thats providing you draw those lucky doe tags at a cost of $10...if you get lucky or not.

Sometimes you can get a doe permit after the "lottery" when the state lets you spend $10 more on those tags that werent issued at the outset

Here in Oklahoma it's one of each for each catagory, bow, muzzleloader, rifle.
Then a special doe hunt after rifle season.
Each tag will cost you $20, and $25 resident hunting lic.
You can use bow through all 3 seasons, and you can use muzzleloaders in rifle.
No point restrictions.(I hold restrictions for my ownhunting property...6pt or better for bucks and mature does only.)

ORIGINAL: Fieldmouse
I just checked it and it says unlimited antlerless deer during bow season. You almost scared me. I have plans one hunt to empty my quiver on one hunt and shoot six deer.

Here you go Fieldmouse. Right off of the website. If you are in these counties you're fine. If not, 10 doe limit.

Region B: White-tailed Deer Bow Season 2005-2006

Total Bag Limit:2 Antlered
10 Antlerless * Unlimited Antlerless in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George's counties

You can shoot your first buck whenever but you must have harvested 2 doe before you can shoot another buck. You need a bonus antlered deer stamp also which is $6. That applies to all seasons in the whole state.

WISCONSIN : 1 buck with you Bow license plus 1 buck with your gun license. Plus for $12 each bonus tag, you can harvest as many does as the amount of tags you buy for your area.

Last year I shot 4 does and 1 buck.

Indiana has a "One Buck Rule" , and doe opportunities assigned by county of harvest . These range from one to four does , but several counties have recently been designated "Doe Reduction Areas" where up to an additional four does may be taken . When counted together with park reduction hunts , miltary refuges , and other speacial hunts you can fill several freezers here if you're good enough . This state is a meat hunter's dream , and we seem to have a few trophy class bucks as well if you go deep enough .

I forgot to mention in my earlier posts about federal hunting grounds and deer management programs. There are areas owned by the US Government that you can hunt on and the deer taken from there do not count towards your regular season bag limits. There are several deer management hunts in the State Parks in Md where you may take between 1-4 doe that do not count towards your regular season. Even with all of the hunters and the liberal bag limits, there are still too many dang deer in this state.

Depending on where you hunt in kY.... In zone 1 u can take 1 antlered deer (any size) and 1 doe with the reg deer tags and u can use a unlimited number of bonus doe tags(2 does) as you want. BUt in the other zones we can only take 1 buck and 1 doe with the reg tags. and can only use one bonus tag(worth 2 does)
