my goal is at least 55 or 60. Not many of the hefty girls here can pull over 58 lbs. Im only 5'2 and 108 lbs, so it's kinda hard. hammermanhave you killed anything yet?

This is my 6th year bow hunting and I am 36.So go figure.I always gun hunted before that.Now I only hunt with a bow.Got rid of all my guns.I live for bow hunting.

I started bow hunting at 18 also and have been doing it for 21 years now. It blows away hunting with a gun.

I didn't start bowhunting until I was 26.

Pace yourself, practice, practice and practice and enjoy.Just feeling the difference between the 2 styles/types of hunting gives you a better perspective. You have all the time in the world. At 18 you're still just a pup. I know guys who didn't get started bow hunting until they were in their 50's. I didn't start until I was 23 and have been doing it for almost 30 years. You're never too old or too young in your case.
