Default Government Money

Hi all, I posted this on the Disabled board, but since this forum gets more hits I'll post here also.

Does anyone know of any Government Grants or Money that is available on a project that will greatly increase the enjoyment and success of our disabled hunters. Do you know anyone who you could put me in touch with, that might be able to help. I really can't say anymore at this point but it's very exciting! [:-][:-]

Dont know,Other then one local sports shop that puts on a deer hunt 1 day for doe only I had no luck with any other organization even attempting to offer anything locally.Had some of those bigger disabled hunting orgs say get on a list. Then if your picked I would have to travel half across the country. Most disabled people dont have that kind of money to travel.I dont even have a car that I would trust to leave the county. And I would have to skip my medicine to buy gas. All I can say is do what I do. Beg some local land owners to let you hunt on their property then crawl on your hands and knees to a spot at the edges.

I know the Wisconsin DNR has programs for disabled hunters, and even asks landowners to sign up for sponsoring disabled hunts on their land. I don't know the details, but you could contact them.

Hi Cardeer, You may have misunderstood. I am not disabled. But I'm working with an individual on an idea that will aid the disabled. We have working prototypes and were wonderring if there is any Government programs that may support our project through the production process.
