A friend is crazy about these wasp fixed blade broadheads 7/8 inch. he has bowhunted for 20 years and swears they are the straightest flying broadheads he has ever owned. Anyone know anything about them.

oh yea !!,
i had used them for a long time back in the 80`s, they kick asss they say real fine.
get some and try them out, you wont be upset with the results. i think wasp is a great broad head maker and has been for a long time.
very strait shooters andawesome pass through`s.
i should get some more now that we`re talking about it.

I shot WASP broadheads for a good many years. I started out using the old cam lok ones that were kind of orange in color and then went the the Hi-Tech Hammers for a couple of years. I switched to the Advantage by Rocky Mtn. the first year they came out, and haven't gone back since. Last year however I used a WASP Jak-Hammer SST mechanical on the doe I shot for my earn-a-buck, and it did some serious damage, but no pass-through which did not impress me.
I would say all in all WASP makes a fine broadhead, and are pretty afordable compared to some others.

i use the wasp sst and the wasp sst bullet, they fly straight, are bad through the bone, and they fly exactly like my field points, i have never had any problems with them. i have had complete pass-throughs on every deer i have shoot with them.

We recently received the Wasp Boss heads down at the shop but I have yet to test them. If they fly as well as some of the other super short replacement blade heads then I may have to give them a whirl this season.

Very underrated company. Probably my fave. For the money,SST's are tough to beat and if you've got the horsepower Jak-Hammers are devastating.
Super sharp blades, excellent construction, and great bang for the buck ( no pun intended ) $-wise.

I have tried and now use the Wasp Sharpshooter. It's new this year and features 4 cut-on-contact blades with a 1" cutting diameter. Flight is excellent out to 40 yards. I will post some real world results after I harvest a deer.

The Hammer SST's are one nasty broadhead. They are build very solid and never fail to pass through. I rank wasp right up there with muzzy and thunderhead. They are so underated it's unfair. You wont regret using any of the wasp broadheads. They are going to be in my quiver this fall!
