Question about muzzy practice blades.
Today I awitched from shooting fieldpoints to shooting my muzzy's with the practice blades in and they were shooting right with my fieldpoints with no adjustments at all. I was wondering though, do the regular blades shoot exactly like the practice blades? because if not, i'm going to put the real blades on and adjust for those. but if so, i'd like to just shoot the practice ones so i won't have to keep re sharpening my good blades. By the way, this is my first year using muzzy's. I switched to 100 grain muzzys from 100 grain thunderheads. Just wanted a change i guess. Been using thunderheads forever and i know they're good but i couldn't resist the reduced price muzzy's after last year's season.

RE: Question about muzzy practice blades.
My opinion about the so called practice blades on broadheads is this..... I am not going to shoot a deer with practice blades so what is the point of practicing with them? Practice with the equipment that you are going to use to hunt with.
They are also harder on your target as the rip and tear a hole rather than cutting a smooth slice.

RE: Question about muzzy practice blades.
I don't use the practice blades. I buy a 6 pack of muzzys, use 2 sets of the real blades with all 6 heads, pick out the best 3 heads, then practice with those (using the now dulled blades.) Then I'll drop new blades in those 3 heads to hunt with.

RE: Question about muzzy practice blades.
I shot one set of blades and then the other. They flew and hit the same. After switching back and forth several times I was convinced. I took the hunting blades off after sharpening them and reinstalled the practice blades, the sharp ones will only go back on for a hunt.
