I don't have that stand, but I will tell you without any question that Summit climbing stands are the very best I have ever tried! I have tried a bunch belive me. The go on fast, climb quiet, are very stable, and super comfortable. for a lite climber the bushmaster xls would be my choice. You may also want to look at the cobra, same style but a more comfortable seat.

I own one and love it. The cables are very very secure. The stand is very quiet. The stand is very very very very very light. It is INCREDIBLY easy set up. It is pretty good for adjustment. I would never ever use another climber. Summit has one of, if not the best customer service!

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)

Ditto on the other comments, bull. Summit's tops in my books for light weight in a climber, stability, and above all -- comfort.

Like the others mentioned, the Cobra's got a very comfy back piece (I've got one of these, as well as the Viper top too), and the Cobra's only one pound more than the Bushmaster. I don't think a person could tell the difference.

Bull, only 1 lb more, and not much difference in price. I'd go with the
cobra, it's more comfy!

Bull, there was a thread a week or so ago about this very same topic. The guys here talked me into getting the Cobra XLS instead of the bushmaster, because of the pound difference.I got my stand on Monday and have used it out back about 3 times. It's an awesome treestand period. It climbs well and is very quiet, both to set up and to climb with. And once you're up there,it is very quiet to either sit or stand and shoot from.Even from different angles it's very quiet and stable. For about 15 bucks more and a pound,it's worth the money.Hope this will help.Good luck,Brian
