One of my bows (Browning Boss tracker)has a Bohning Lynx 4 arrow detachable that I have used for a while now and I think it's great. The other bow (Browning Blood Brother)I just got and it has a two piece 6 arrow quiver. The jury is still out on it but I will hunt with the bow this yearand see how it goes. Right off the bat I would rather it be a 4 arrow butit came witha 6 arrow so i'mnot going to rush out and buy a 4 arrow two piece just yet, I will give this one a chance.

Now I never owned a two piece quiver so some things I noticed right away.

First thing I noticed is the fixed two piecequiver is much more stable and secure. No movement at all, no vibration andthe arrowsride closer to the bow. Thedown side is I have to put the arrows inbefore I go hunting and take them out after I'm done when I put the bow away. With the detachable I simply just took off the quiver and stored it away. The up side is the bow (even with 6 arrows) feels more balanced than the bow with the detachable quiver does.

The detachable quiver though nice does stick out more than the fixed and does not seem as solid like the two piece(which feels well, likepart of the bow...cuz it is)

Only time will tell if I like the two piece better than the detachable, but right now I think the two piece is winning some favor with me.

Got to go with my Rackmasters teamate JeramyK on this one. I used a Kwiky last year and had a nice 9 point dead in my sights at a known preset range of 40 yards. I shot and he ducked the arrow because I just got to the stand and I never had a chance to take my quiver off like I normally do. I found out later the quiver was noisier than heck. I went to the good ol' E-Bay and bought a Alpine Soft-lok and tried it. HOLY SMOKES! What a difference! No noise problem now. I would say let that 9 point walk in front of me this year but I can't. My neighbor's friend got him last fall with a muzzleloader. He green scored 156. OUCH!!!! The only thing is, that 9 point has brothers, cousins, dads, and grandpas running around here! LOL

I have a non-detachable at this point but never really liked it. I will have to check out these cat quivers.

Hoyt2 peice quiver. I dont mind the 2 peice since I'm shooting a 38" ata bow and my fletchings dont hang below the bottom cam.

I have the standard PSE Mongoose detachable. It works okay, but 99% of the time I leave it off. I only attach it when hiking in, when I'm climbing up in the tree, etc... Once I get secure and all setup 22' off the ground, I nock an arrow, then hang the quiver on the tree.

I use a cheapo Quickee (sp?) Quiver - the 6 arrow variety. I take it off my bow immediately and hang it in my stand with a camo cover over the crestings.

On stand, my bow has to be as small, light, low profile and maneuverable as possible. I have some stands placed in pretty tight quarters. No room for a quiver hanging on the side.
