I won't be hunting this year
 

I got in trouble with my parents and the punishment is "NO HUNTING" I really feel like putting a gun to my head. Any suggestions?

I suggest you calm down about it LOL. :) If it was your fault, than it was your mistake and you should have thought about what you did and it's ramifications before you did it. Don't get your panties in a bunch about it. Go out there and scout for next year.

What did you do wrong to warrant such an extreme punishment?

Putting a gun to your head is a pretty permanent solution to a fairly temporary problem. I hope you are joking about that. If not there are several of us that would like to talk to you about what you might be going thru.

Uh....wow. That really sucks. First, remove the gun to your head thought from your head. Like Paul said, if you need to talk, e-mail or pm me, we can talk if you want.
Second......being a parent myself, unless the crime was like failing school or something.....I would let you out of it after a while. I would almost bet your parents will too. Send me a line if you want to talk. Seriously.

I swear, there should be an age limit to be able to post on the internet.

Now before I get a lot of crap. I also know plenty of young kids who would have no problem with this type of responsibility, but I know a heck of alot more who just can't handle it. One post he is saying he's married and this one he says he is grounded??? what gives?

Well something ain't right.

On 8-3-05 he posts a question asking about Spitfire broadheads and if they get good penetration.....then on 8-9-05 he is answering a post about........ you guessed it Spitfires telling another member how good they are and how great the penetration is with them. Hmmmmmm, hemust havewent out,bought them andshot a deer with them all in 6 days to become an expert on Spitfires.

Well I don't know about him but, I was told when I got my license at 14 that if I failed any subjects there would be no hunting. I went hunting that year. The next year I failed something and low and behold, no hunting that year. The following year I learned my lesson, no failing, at least the first report card.:D

There's nothing wrong with the Nebraska Cornhuskers! I made a ton of money off of them playing my Florida State Seminoles in bowl games back in the 80's. Man I miss those days. lol j/k

Heck, I don't think we have enough people to have two Universities, state or otherwise. :D

The funny part of it all, I'm originally from PA, graduated fromPenn Statein '94, who I still root for, but just recently became a Nebraska fan after all of the upheaval of the last few years have taught some of the native Nebraskansa little bit of humility. :) They were really obnoxious when I first moved here in '97 and they were winning all of those National Titles. lol ya national titles will do that to you look at OU, if i go up to see my dad and wear my ball cap ( its got a longhorn on it from a team i played on) i get all sorts of hatefull looks.i almost went to penn state had a partial ride for baseball..... but decided that wasn't the place for me.

Ya me and my dad share the same name cause we only have one email address. But its not that serious cause he's taken me dove hunting on the 1st:DIt got a lot better when he cooled off.

Hey this is his dad, he got in more trouble for doing this on the internet(saying he was going to kill himself) then the first thing he did. But anyway, he was hanging out with some kids past curfew and got caught by the cops and got a $250 ticket. I just tried to scare him. I was still going to let him hunt.

A $250 dollar ticket for curfew!! Holey crap, that is stiff. Glad it wasn't like that when I was a kid.

I might cut him some slack on the killing himself thing as well. I don't think he meant it that way (I hope not any way) and probably just trying to be dramatic. Kids can be that way. Although you can never take something like that litely which is why we expressed concern to begin with.

Good luck with him;). At least you care enough to punnish him.

He should have his own identity on here. That way if you needs to express something there will not be as much confusion. Or if he needs to talk about something he feels he cannot discuss with you or mom he can PM one of us. Of course we will probably just tell him to talk to you about it in the end:D.

It's also a fact that if the "Horns" didn't have to play Oklahoma every year they might get aNational Championshipbid. Although we will keep winning those games out of the conversation.:D
