Default Draw weight

What is the lowest draw weight you would shoot at a whitetail deer. I'm currently shooting 50 lbs and I'm not sure if that will kill a deer.

50lbs is enough to kill a whitetail and get pass throughs.Watch your range, I would keep my shots to 30yds and under at 50lbs.

Don't worry about it. Fifty pounds will do the job.

50# is plenty to take a deer. Here in PA our laws require a minimum of 35#.

50 lbs is plenty as said above, however Kinetic energy should be observed as well....

Just make sure you use a cut-on-contact head, like a Magnus Stinger or Slick Tricks. I shoot 54 pounds at 26 inch draw, Im more than confident out to 25 yards.
