Insurance on a trail camera?
#1
I was looking for a new trail camera and saw something that said you can have your trail camera covered under your homeowners insurance for as little as $4 a month or year. I am thinking about getting a new trail camera, probably the new Cuddeback 3.0, but I don't want it to get stolen. I was considering making my own, but I do not want to use a 35mm, or make a digital when I can buy one for just a little bit more. Has anyone heard of covering a trail camera with their homeowner's insurance?

You may be able to cover it on homeowners insurance. You may want to find out what your deductble is on your insurance. It may be 250.00 or 500.00. If that is the case you may be better off taking the chance at having it stolen or not.

I wouldn't bother like he said the deductible is probably higher than the cost of the camera. When you do make a claim your home owners insurance will go up .They are not in the insurance business to loss money.
