I'm new and have been reading several threads here about people buying a new bow and needing advice. I just bought my first one, on-line at www.huntersfriend.comI found that site before I found this one... itwas the most comprehensive website I could imagine. I encourage anyone looking for a new bow, or bow package to review the site.

Have fun with it and practice until you think your ready, and then practice for odd positions (sitting, feet in front of you like on a stand etc.)

Hunters' friend generally gets mentioned here at least once a week. They are a fairly reputable site by all accounts. They have been around for a few years now and I have always found the information that they provide very useful.

Nice - You spent more $$$ than I was willing (Right Now). That package has a choice in arrow rests... Which did you go with.

Yes, Last Sunday after Church - went to lunch with a group, and all the guys were talking about bow season and I couldn't carry on a conversation about the sport.
