that's a pretty bow. Think I'll keep mine until bows get some kind of outragous speed to them... like 450fps. Then I'll switch. See no point of changing bows every year, or even every other year, to gain 5-10 or even 20 fps.

I agree.. I cant see dropping 500 every 3 years on a new bow.. I have had mine now for 4 years and its fast enough.

Looks good, but the riser is a bit too reflexed for my tastes.

Looks good. As a prior Merlin owner I can say their workmanship is of the highest standard. It will be interesting to hear how it shoots.

So which of the two cam systems is on the bow in the picture...obviously a hybrid but Alpha or Viper?

That is the Viper cam, the 320fps model. The Alpha will be rounder and smoother, and about 15fps slower. More pics in the coming days as the factory gets things done.

The bow's definately different looking. Kind oif looks like the APA Mamba or whatever it's called. I'd like to shoot one of these when they come out but I have to comment on a couple things.

Over the years of watching these and other message boards I wish I had a nickle for every time I read where you state "speed is over rated", "a fast miss is still a miss" etc., etc.yet now you boast about the speed of this bow. "320 fps !! (and it'll easily do it too)"

I have also read your posts in the past saying howmanufacturers shouldn't release their new line until the AMO Show yet here your releasing the 2006 line in the middle of August. Your4 1/2months early aren't you?
