Default Sweet!!!Got a another place to hunt!

Whats up guys and girls!

I have managed to get anew place to hunt. Its only eight acres but it backs up to a very large marsh area. The property is about 300 yards wide and goes back to where its got about an acre of woods. I looked at all the trees and they white oaks that are four feet thick at the bottom and two or three are pines. At the back it rolls down about ten feet and you can see out into the marsh and I saw about six beds from the top of the hill. I also saw tons of trail leading from the marsh up to the field area
The best part is its only twenty minutes from my house so I can hunt early on the farm (hour fifteen minutes away) and hunt the afternoon at the new place and be home in time for dinner!

Good Hunting

Thats awesome...just be careful if you see beds that close, that you aren't gonna be scaring all the deer out when you are walking in.

Gotcha, I will have a well raked trail so I'll be nice and quite getting in there. Plus I'll be able to get far enought away so they cant spot me getting to my stand.

Most new places are good to hunt. And you gat alot of oak trees in the area. I got a new place too. Don't know how many acres but the got a huge soy bean field and oak trees. My stand will be placed at the corner of the woods where the deer come out!

The other good thing is that nobody hunts anywhere near it and there are homes right next door so the deer should be used to the noise and things like that.

It is always nice to have a good area but it makes it even better when it is close to home.

Way to go on the new spot. I have always liked hunting near a swamp. You
never know what kind of monster buck may be living in there.
