I would have called them first. Chances are they might have told you to keep it. It does pay to be honest most of the time though. I can't believe how many so called christians I meet that will do stuff like that though. And a minute later tell me how much better they are than me because I don't go to church every sunday? Good things come back to those that do them, it just take a while sometimes.
