trophyline tree saddle
I hunt a few different pieces of public land and in most cases cannot hang a stand. I also do not want to risk getting a stand stolen. Has anyone tried a tree saddle ? I do not want to spend $200 if they aren't good or comfortable.
Thanks

Here in MO, we cannot screw anything into the tree. With a treesaddle, yes, you can use strap on steps to get up the tree, but you need several going around the tree at your desired height, and the only way that will work is with screw in steps. IMO, they don't look very comfortable, however, I wouldn't know that for sure.

I haven't used the tree saddle but one of my hunting buddies has an older version of it. Strap on treesteps may work quite well depending on the circumference of the tree.
