Since you asked, I am going out tonight and will give it a try for you. I will report back tomorrow. Other than that I haven't tried it yet either. Fawn distress bleats work good. (trying to fill some intensive harvest tags)

Here in Florida we are in the peak rut, so yes doe bleat. buck grunts, antlers all work. So do scents.

sjh if the bucks have rubbed all their velvet off the younger ones will probably check it out, most bucks are in the early rut frame of mind once their antlers have hardened and all the velvet is off. As someone else said, bucks are like a teenage boy in the cheerleaders locker room!
