RE: your user name
I started deer hunting as an adult a few years ago. The trip into the world of hunting was interesting, expecially when I choose bow hunting as my preferred method. I started writing a journal about my experiences that I someday want to put into a book format. Just a dream of mine to hunt, fish, camp and write for a living. So with a play on words took "Deertale" as my user name...

RE: your user name
When I was 18, I bought a .50BMG single shot rifle. I'm not sure why, probably because it was the biggest I could find. Anyways, at the range I shot at, the rangemaster was an old family freind. And on the weekend when it was busy, he would be their making sure people were safe, ect. Every time I would get my rifle out, he would get on the PA system and announce in his loud gruff voice, "Longrifle at the bench, fire in the hole!" It just stuck, everyone started calling me longrifle. I added the 1000 because someone else was already registered with that name, and that was the first thing that popped into my head.
