Default HOW MUCH ARE YOU PAYING FOR ARROWS?

I just picked up my second set of arrows after losing 4 of my first set I got when I picked up my new bow just a little over 2 weeks ago.I paid almost 50.00 for half a dozen, toss in the gas for a round trip out to the shop and I'm paying almost 10.00 an arrow. Theres got to be a cheaper way.

What are you all paying for arrows?

And congratulations to all you cheeseheads.

I'm paying 100.00 for 1 dozen raw shaft easton 3-71's Acc'c. Good arrows are not cheap, if you want performance in your arrows youe going to have to pay good money for them. Like with anything you get what you pay for. If money were an option with my arrows I'd get 1/2 dozen Carbon Express 55-70 terminators, for about 40-50 dollars. Don't go cheap you'll regret it when the momment of truth happends. I'd rather buy the top of the line alum. arrows than the cheapest carbon.

$50 a dozen. I use Cabela's carbon hunter arrows. They work great and are cheap. The way I like them.

Hmmmm.... I think it was really really cheap, like, $22-23 bucks or something for a 1/2 dozen of the XX75 Camo Hunters in 2315. The guys in the bow shop have all the types ofarrows and sizes and all. If I need a couple more XX75's they grab a handful of them, cut 'em down to 30.5", then glue in the aluminum insert, like they've done it a zillion times before. XX75's have been around for decades and they still work and fly great. Bend one? Big deal... use it in the garden as a tomato stake and go get another one!

I've been using Beman carbons for the past 2 years which are around $75 per dozen. Last year I bought a half dozen Gold Tip XT Hunters to try them out. I think they were around $45. I think I'm going to try the A/C Super Slims this year. They are around $150 for a dozen.

I use heavy XX78's and usually buy them on a clearance during the off season, raw shafts. I think I paid about $45/doz last time which was about 4years ago. Still have 2doz new and ready to go. Arrows last me a long time. They are tough and rarely get damaged. If I do have actually bend one, I have a straightener so it's no biggie. Fix it up and it goes in the practice pile. I probably have only bought about 5 dozen arrows in the last 15years.

Paid $95 for the Axis arrows. It's expensive but it's always worth it when you pull that expensive bloody arrow out of the ground after a pass through shot.
