Thank god my last bass tourney of the year is sept.11, or i'd have a hard decision between bowhunting opening weekend and bass fishing. I'd probably fish and then do an evening hunt. I'm almost as hardcore as bass fisherman as i am bowhunter.I really love fishing bass because it gives me something to continue with a full passion other than bowhunting. My turkey hunting has suffered as a result, but what the heck..if i can chase whitetails from sept-jan, and bass from april to september, I'm a happy outdoorsman.

Fly fishing for trout is my other addiction. :) Though a couple times a yearI'll grab my gear and do some fishing in the riversor lakes.

I began fishing "religously" with my grandfather when I was about 9-10 years old. As has been the norm since I was 12-13, Sept-Jan I am hunting. Feb-March it's chasing BIG MOMMA small and largemouth bass in the shallows. April I mix up the fishing with chasing turkeys. May-mid July I fish mainly for largemouth. Maybe late July and Aug I fish a time or two at night, but mainly it's to danged hot for this ol fatboy so the bassboat usually becomes a 20ft 225hp beercooler which all but has autopilot too the local beach and hangout! ;)

I live stricktly to fish, come October i dry out for a few month and head for the mountains to hunt. By January it's time to get wet again. Saltwater only, nothing big enough in freshwater.

i bowhunt everyday of the year i possibly can. i fish the whole spring and beginning of summerand after that it is getting ready for bowhunting and bowhunting from mid summer to december.

I have started fishing this summer, though I havent been in a few weeks as my old truck that I use to pull the boat had a blow out and I havent gotten around to getting another tire on it yet. Though like RedAllison said, it has been so hot lately that it has turned into a highly mobile cooler. :)

I have been in a bass club for the past 7 yrs;)
Not only that I have bass turny this weekend. A night turny that starts at 3.00pm and ends at 12.00 midnight.
Wish me luck im going to need it!!:D

Fall becomes a fight between the bow hunter me and the muskie hunter me.
