Default Wild Game versus Wildlife

What do you think the difference is between Wild Game and Wildlife?

I like to kill and eat Wild Game.

The anti's refer to what we kill as wildlife.

Under my definition "Wildlife" is all wild animals/fish/creatures.. "Wild Game" is all wildlife that is hunted (by humans). That's the way I see it.

To a hunter wild life would be anything that is not legal to kill. Anything legal is considered a game animal.

To someone that does not hunt I am sure there is no distinction, it is all wild life.

That is sort of how I see it. I never really thought about actually.

Ok, I just did a search on Yahoo to see what came up. Wild Game search - top responses were mainly recipies for wild game, Wildlife - mix of hunting, conservation, and anti-hunting organizations.

I have seen companies that market wildlife products to us who also have links on their website to the other side. Probably just business, trying to profit from both sides, but I now look to make sure who is getting my money!

Why does it matter ??????? To follow this road is to invite a peta nitwit to respond. All creatures that God created were meant for our consumption. BUT,BUT also we were given the responsibilty to manage it
