I would think in your case it works more as a curiosity scent than a phermonal attractant like with estrus does. Menstration being the flushingof the uterine liningand unfertilized egg.As with an estrus doe, the pheromones she is secreting only have a life of about 6-9 minutes. This is why all these scent companies can truely not reproduce true 100%estrus scent.

Like others have said, fresh would serve you best, any tissue attatched to the tarsal will soon begin to break down and give off a dead and dying rotting...smell along with the tarsal scents..

Make dang sure you use gloves then :D.But seriously now, if you urinate onit then won't a deer smell your scent from it? I read something the other day about deer urine, that said that it works best when youmix your human urine with it and I thought, what?
