Big bucks, can't hunt them
I live in a gated community outside Granbury, TX. There's a lot of deer here, but you can' hunt them. You're also not supposed to shoot your bow, but that's not too hard to get around. Anyway, this is a picture of a really big buck that came to the fence this morning, with some other smaller ones. From a side view, I got eight points on him.The brow tines on him are huge. Though you can't hunt them, it's fun watching them.

Unfortunately I can relate all too well. I work at an industrial park which resides on close to 90 acres. The estimated size of our deer herd is approx 100 deer. Every day as I'm driving into work there are no less than a dozen deer near the entrance. There are 2 really nice bucks (12pt and 10pt) that I'd guess would score in the low 120's. The rest are what I'd call average PA bucks ranging from 4 - 8 pts. Unfortunately our location has really strict rules against tresspassing and even picture taking. No cameras are permitted on the premesis. I still hound the land owner each year for permission to hunt even only on Saturdays when nobody is at work. At least he says no with a smile.
