Used to shoot a Bear recurve at 55lbs. with cedar arrow and 2blade Zwickey broadhead glued to it.At 25yds and under, put in the heart/lung area it did an efficient and humane job.Poundage is important but if you can't hit in a 3inch circle every shot, especially your first shot every time out you are headed for trouble.
