Hey there SSG, I'm PFC Hoffmann with A btry. 1-151 FA 34 ID ARNG....i'd just like to say that i agree with what everyone on here says. Everything you guys do over there is appreciated! My unit was deployed about a year ago and should be back in Dec. Right now all we do is train our recruits so that they can know as much as possible when they head off to training...whether it's BCT or AIT. We had 3 soldiers from our battalian die because of an IED and I was part of the military funeral honors for a 1st Lt. Jason Timmerman...whose family i know pretty well...and i'm not ashamed to say that i broke out in tears when they had three choppers fly over right after we preformed the 21 gun salute. I didn't know him personally...but i know his brother and two cousins who i used to fish with when i was younger...and i just pray that they all come back! I believe they are at camp jose cuervo...but i'm not sure...if you see any timmerman's over there with a red bull patch on their sleeve...ya wanna tell em hi for me...
thanks... just remember....5 and 25....keep lookin for the roadside bombs....

Hey david,
I'm currently a task force scout in the third infantry division. I too was in 1/1 cav in buedigan germany, from 1998-2000. I have also served in the Second armored cavalry division for six and a half years. Two bosnia trips and OIF 1 good talking to you. I look forward to hearing back
