Default Cabelas in Hamburg PA

Talked the wife into going to Hershey Park for our anniversary this weekend. Just happens that Cabelas is 1/2 hour away from there so I plan to swing in on the way home. For those that have been there recently is there any good clearance items I should keep my eye open for. Never know what kind of good things you can run in to. Thanks.

When I went they had a tent sale on the side of the building, went to spend 70 dollars on a loc-on tree stand and came home with a nice climber for the same price. Also don't forget the bargain cave. Ps they serve some nice food there also. I had the Elk Stroganoff over noodles and my had Venison Bratwurst. There is also a motel across the street fairly cheap. The bar attached the motel is sorta local dive which also sells food but OI would recommend eating a Cabella's. Leave Credit Cards at Home.

I have been there a half dozen or so times and I cant get out of there in under 4 hours. We eat there as well. The bargain cave does have some things but most of it is junk. You can find some stuff if you know what you are looking for and what youre looking at.

I think its more than 30 minutes from hershey

I went there last year and it took me5 hours to get out of there. 2 hours shopping, 1 hour looking at the wildlife mounts and fish, 1 hour eatingand 1 hour cleaning up my drool.
Ive also been to the one in WV. That one is also great but the PA location is just awesome

I stop at the Hamburg store every year on my way to visit family in NJ. In fact, I was just there a couple weeks ago. I don't recall any good specials going on then. I usually go to the store in WV as it's much closer. The two stores are almost identical except Hamburg has a much better location IMO.

I am there about once a week. Having it only 20 minutes from my house gives the wife fits when the credit card bills come in every month.

Put a big ditto under all of that for me as well. The bargain cave does have some nice deals if you know what to look for plus they usually have clearance items displayed out in front of it. Call ahead and see if they are going to have a "Cabelas Club" weekend when you stop by. That might give you a few extra dollars to spend.

I go there about four times a year but I never find any good bargins there. Most of the stuff in the bargin cave is junk or really no bargin $ wise. Great store though.

only 15 minutes from my house so I'm there all the time. They always have something on sale or clearance. If not, I buy something anyway.

I have a huge cabelas opening october 14th 1 mile from my house. my wife isn't too happy about it. she thinks i spend way too much time and money (she's right) at the store owatonna (2 hours). it's probably a good thing for your marriage that it's that far away.

Keep an eye out for deals. They had quite a few, IIRC, when the Hamburg store opened here.
