Default Summit climber ?

I didn't want to hi-jack someone else's Summit post .

I have a Summit Cobra, have had it for 5-5 1/2 years and love it.
My question is why did Summit do away with the seat that has an air bladder in it that you blow up so that you can adjust how firm the back rest and seat are.

I'd like to up grade to a newer Summit but can't see getting a new one when my cobra continues to serve me well.

Is it possible that there were potential problems with leakage or punctures? I can see how something like that might ruin a hunt. I have a Summit Revolution that is three or four years old and can't seea reason to upgrade either. That may be their one true fault. They make such great stands that few bowhunters see a reason to upgrade....

I've been using a Summit Bushmaster with the air seat for the last 4 years and never had a problem with it. They don't make the sir seat anymore but you can put the regular padded seat on your stand. I love my Summit climber and would only switch it for a new Summit X5 Bushmaster.

People were pinching them between the tree and climber and popping the air bladder while climbing.

I have the air seat and wouldn't trade for a minute.
