i was once told by a 15 yr old kid that he could robbin hood my arrow. I took that bet and lost. So Ishot 1 arrow. I took about a 20 yard shot into theblock target. And sure enough this kid shattered my arrow. He was shooting an older bear compound bow with no sights.

Yep, that's exactly what it is. When you limit it to the true definition, there aren't too many done. Remember the first arrow needs to be dead center.
A true robinhood is two shots. First oneyou center punch the target then the second arrow shafts the first arrow

How would you know it was dead center in the bullseye?.Its just a circle.Do you go out and measure with a set of calipers?

Yes I was being a smarty pants with that reply.I was just amazed at the variety of answers on such a question.I mean come on,is this like etched in stone somewhere.Maybe the bow bible?

A true Robin Hood is just like the first person who responded to this said. Your first arrow goes in the bullseye and your second goes right in behind it and sticks in the first. That's it. The rest is just grouping tight enough to split one.

A friend and I always tried to bust each other's nocks whenever we shot together. Our own personal little war to help each of us shoot better. I robinhooded one of his arrows at 65 yards. I was aiming for his nock. I intended to hit his nock. I did hit it, dead center. Split his brand new 2213 X7. He called it a robinhood.... and called me various other names.
