I was wondering what you all thought about CWD? Are you scared to eat the meat?

I live in Colorado where CWD is becoming more widespread each year it seems. The past two years we have not had our meat tested nor given it a whole lot of thought since we do not hunt in a unit where it has been detected. This year the DOW really publicized CWD and made it very easy and fairly cheap to have your animal tested. We decided that it wasn't worth it to take a chance anymore and are having our deer tested this year. A buck that was taken during our archery season less than 100 miles from where we hunt has already tested positive for it so I am glad we are testing. If you are interested the CDOW has quite a bit of information on their website:
