That buck would make the paper where I normally hunt.

WOW, now it's time to figure out how to be 20 yards from him come deer season.

The camera is a Canon PowerShot S1IS. It has an optical zoom of 10x and digital zoom of 3.2x which combine up to 32x. These pics where taken at 32x and would have been much better at 20x but I wanted to look him over close once we got the picturesloaded on the computer. You needeither atri-pod, a very steady hand or take a lot of pictures of the subjectonce you tap into the digital zoom. Tri-pod just doesn't work for stalking so I took 50plus pictures of him and deleted over half which were grainy or blurry. Only 5 or 6 were pretty decent out of the 50-some pictures. The camera wasn't meant for what I" force "it to do for scoutingbut for an all around digital it is a good one. The latter was the main reason I bought it.

Tim

He wasroughly 70 yards away in the first picture and 50 yards in the last two pics.

Great Buck!!! You guys might have to attach yourself to one of those telephone poles to get a crack at him from above .

With pictures like that you two are going to cause a fight as to who gets the two of you on their team in the 2005 contest .

It is great you two get to do these type of things together....

Wow, very nice guys. Good Luck to both of you. Just make sure that your dad does the dragging after you do the hard work of shooting him.

My dad says hi and wishes he will be on the same team like last year.

Tribal

We figure heis at least 155" because of the weaker right side and short brows, but the buck looked larger out there then in the picture.
