RE: Broadheads
Hello, Well looks like your dealer doesn't know what he or she is talking about. If your bow is tuned, arrow correct spine, broadheads spinning true, then you should get great flight. You may have to tinker just a little with rest tension. The broadhead you were using is a fine broadhead. I like the Steel Force, Muzzy, and Wasp Hammer. Good luck

RE: Broadheads
I have had bad luck with the spitfire.but they should shot
like your field tips .myself i like fixed blades.muzzy
or thunderhead.I have never tried rocky's. I shoot carbon arrows to
at 308 to 310 fps and i have no problems with fixed blades. but I had to go to 100 grain. it sounds like bow problems to me.
there is one mech head i do like ,thats the steelhead.
tried it last year and .WOW I know one deer with the head
could of been luck.I'LL try it this year on one deer.
good luck with the bow.

RE: Broadheads
I agree with Richard, if properly tuned, you shoud be able to shoot fixed if you like. The bowshop owner would have been accurate if he had stated that at "the speeds you're pushing, fixed heads will be more difficult to control", but not imposible. At those speeds, you would probable love the results you would see with a good mechanical broadhead..........Good Luck....Fletch

I'd love to hear what speeds that particular shop considers too fast for fixed blades...I love the misinformation some pro shops want to spew out.....no wonder we have so many myths and rumors.
